Hello.

What fascinates you the most about the human experience? What defines the true essence of human potential? Maybe these aren’t quantifiable concepts and perhaps they will always remain subjective. My attempt to answer these questions has always led me towards community and growth. A community built upon generosity, stemming from an ability to perceive the needs that transcend your own. And an unrelenting desire to grow with focus on leaving generational impact on the planet.

My name is Maqsood Khan, everyone close to me know me as Maq hence the branding Dr.Maq. Actually I was a medical student attending a fundraiser in eastern Kentucky when the organizer of that event, who would later work with me on a project, called me “Dr.Maq”. That never left me and provided an easy segway for me to introduce myself in this domain. As I’m launching this site, and “The Reading Room” podcast, I’m a Radiology resident finishing up my surgical internship.

This site will anchor everything related to the projects that I will be doing and will be the home of the “The Reading Room” podcast. I have intention to provide content and value, not only for myself but the seeking individual in the field of medicine, medical training-with a specific scope in Radiology, health, wellness, community activism and uplift. The content for this platform will expand with my experiences without a defined timeline.
